DJ and Music STEPS is excited to announce our 2023 Annual Summer Leadership & Enrichment Program. Participants will experience trips, adventures, college tours and other fun activities. Join us in supporting Girls on the Run of Southeastern Connecticut and women in film at our 2020 virtual LUNAFEST! This traveling film festival, created by Luna Bar, features award-winning short films by, for, and about women. These films are thought provoking and will make you laugh, cry, and most of all, leave you inspired. The short films are not formally rated but recommended for ages 14 and up.
LUNAFEST is a national film festival that features 7 short films by, for and about women. All proceeds STEPS, Inc will hold a 2020 Virtual Summer Leadership Program for girls grades 6-12, August 3-7, 5:30-7pm. Register by July 27. We are all going through some challenging times, and STEPS felt it important to give our students an opportunity to express their feelings and share their concerns about current events. Let Your Voice Be Heard: An Empowering Guided Discussion let by Dr. Leah Russack-Baker will be held via Zoom on July 16, 6-7 pm.
This event is specifically for high school students (female and male) and is limited to 20 participants. Thursday, June 25, 6 -7 p.m.
Let's have a Converstation with Leah Russack-Baker, a local clinical therapist with expertise in resiliency and self-leadership. This event is specifically for middle school students. POSTPONED

Due to the seriousness of the rapidly changing Coronavirus situation, Connecticut College has moved all their March events. Since this decision affects our on-campus Young Women’s Leadership Day, the event has been postponed until August 15, 2020. We certainly hope you will be able to join us on the new date. Please let us know your availability so we can plan accordingly for August 15th.
We realize this may be an inconvenience and Save the date for S.T.E.P.S second annual collaborative Bow-A-Thon taking place on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Groton Bowling Center in Groton, CT. This is a family-friendly event that includes food specials as well as basket raffles. Bring your friends! Teams of 6-8 players can register and your shoe rental and 2 hours of bowling will be included in the admission price.Click here to register.

Groton, CT – Celebrate strong girls in our community on June 11 at “ICONIC,” S.T.E.P.S. 3rd Annual Variety Show. The show raises funds to continue S.T.E.P.S. programs for young women in New London and Groton schools. It is also a chance for girls in the S.T.E.P.S. program to build self-confidence through performance.
Buy a ticket, join the audience, and support S.T.E.P.S. girls. Doors open at 2:00 p.m., show starts at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 general admission and $8 for those ages 8 and under. The STEPS Inc. is planning three exciting fundraisers for January and February:
